Swords Eye Centre was founded by Joe O’Sullivan, our principal optometrist, whose passion for patient centred care continues to shape everything we do. Joe studied optometry at the University of Manchester and completed his pre registration training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, one of the most respected eye hospitals in the world.
Following valuable experience working across the UK and Ireland, Joe established Swords Eye Centre with a clear vision. He wanted to create an independent practice where patients receive attentive, high quality care tailored to their individual needs.
Today, Joe leads the practice alongside his wife Marie and a highly skilled team. With over 150 years of combined optical experience, our team brings knowledge, precision and genuine care to every appointment.
We believe that excellent care is supported by excellent technology. That is why we have invested in advanced diagnostic equipment to ensure our examinations are as detailed and accurate as possible.
